Overview
HELIX was built as a medical education platform for Egyptian medical students, combining MCQ practice, quizzes, study notes, and a structured system for reporting inaccurate or outdated questions.
The application was designed and built independently, covering product design, application architecture, Flutter development, authentication, data modeling, content delivery, reporting workflows, and Play Store deployment.
Challenges & Solutions
Medical question banks accumulate errors over time (outdated guidelines, ambiguous wording), and there was no way for students to flag or correct them without going through you directly.
Built a crowd-sourced reporting system letting students flag individual questions, with an admin review workflow to accept or reject corrections before they went live.
